Accurate control of your air assist for cutting and engraving. High and low air pressures allow for cleaner result.
Controlled by the smart board, there are 2 modes for Thunder Laser machine’s air assist feature. Usually we set Low volumn air for engrave and High volumn air for cut on the design drawing layer on laser software, so as to get cleaner results on both engraving and cutting process.
This also works on Lightburn software. For cutting, just toggle air assist ON; for engraving, toggle air assist OFF and it will activate the low air stage.
Air assist is an important feature to lower the risk of meterials’ catching fire when being heated by laser. Also air assist prevents the lens from the smoke and dust generated during laser processing on materials.
Neither the Low volume air or high volumn air will be activated until the laser starts. So this proprietary Dual air function also helps on energy conservation and noise reduction.

As we all know, CO2 laser is invisible, we cannot know the position of the laser point when the laser engraving machine is working. However, we need to know the accurate position before working on the material most of the time, so how to achieve it? Thunder laser engraving machine dedicated red dot pointer can help you solve this problem.
Thunder laser engraving machine adopts a special laser beam combiner structure. It can combine red light with a wavelength of 650nm and carbon dioxide laser with a wavelength of 10600nm into one. This method turns the invisible carbon dioxide laser into visible light. The combination structure of red dot pointer and beam helps to clarify the exact position of the laser before cutting and engraving. It helps you greatly reduce deviations and saves you time and material waste.

The smart board is specially designed by Thunder Laser to automatically control the on/off of exhaust fan and air pump according to the need of the laser work.
It facilitates energy saving and noise reduction. Meanwhile, colors of alarm lamp are also controlled by it to show the working state of the laser.
For example:
When the machine is not at work, or working with the top cover close, the alarm lamp is in green color.
If the top cover opened during laser working, the alarm lamp turns red.Besides, manually or automatically you can extend the working time of exhaust fan, air assist by setting on the smart board.

There’re 2 modes for air assist. Cut and Engrave. The 2 air solenoids are controlled with the smart board.
