Introduction

Try making wooden flowers from 3mm plywood. Real flowers fade over time, but wooden flowers can stay beautiful and lasting.
With laser cutting, you can create clean flower-shaped parts, assemble them by hand, and make a decorative craft that is perfect for home decor, gifts, or creative display.
Before your work begins
Clean the lens and mirrors
Check the laser head and nozzle for dust or buildup
Ensure ventilation and air assist are working properly
Confirm the machine is running smoothly and normally
Operational Process
STEP01
Prepare & Position the Plywood
Prepare the 3mm plywood and place it flat on the laser working table.
Keep the plywood stable before cutting. The design should also be adjusted according to the actual type and size of the material before processing.
STEP02
Import & Adjust the Design File
Draw or prepare the wooden flower design file in CorelDraw, then switch to the laser software using the laser plug-in.
Set the proper cutting parameters in the laser software, then click Download to transfer the design to your laser cutting machine.
STEP03
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Move the laser head to the correct starting position and adjust the focal distance before cutting.
After focusing, press Origin on the control panel to set the starting position. Accurate focusing helps achieve cleaner plywood cutting results.
STEP04
Frame the Design ＆ Start Laser Cutting
Use the Frame function to check the cutting area and confirm that the wooden flower design stays within the plywood sheet.
Once everything is aligned, press Start to begin laser cutting. Stay near the machine and monitor the cutting process carefully.
STEP05
Post Processing
After cutting, collect all the plywood flower pieces and check that each part has been cut cleanly.
Assemble the wooden flower by hand and use glue to secure the parts where needed. Once assembled, the wooden flower craft is ready for display.
