WHY CO₂ GALVO?
Faster by Design
Traditional gantry CO₂ machines move the laser head across the workpiece. CO₂ galvo technology takes a different approach, using high-speed beam steering to scan the laser across the marking field.
With less mechanical travel, acceleration, direction changes and overscan, Thunder CO₂ Galvo Marker is designed for faster repetitive marking and engraving.
BUILT FOR HIGHER THROUGHPUT
① Up to 3,000 mm/s Fill, 1,000 mm/s Line, and 3,000 mm/s Jump speeds.
② Galvo scanning reduces mechanical travel, direction changes, and overscan.
③ A standard 300 × 300 mm field fits more parts and fixtures per setup.
④ The 300 mm lens supports optimized hatch spacing for large-fill applications.
PRECISION YOU CAN REPEAT
±0.05 mm Repeatability
Consistent positioning helps keep repeated jobs aligned from one part to the next.
Across batch production and repeat setups, reliable placement helps maintain consistency and reduce setup variation.

FAQS ABOUT THUNDER
Yes. An optional rotary attachment can be added for cylindrical and round products.
The rotary setup supports workpieces up to Ø130 mm (5.1 in), making it suitable for applications such as coated tumblers, bottles, cylindrical containers and other round products that require marking around the circumference.
Yes. The four-side open workstation design gives users more freedom to position tall, long, irregular and already-assembled products around the marking area.
The machine provides 580 mm (22.8 in) of motorized Z travel and supports a maximum processing height of up to 398 mm (15.7 in), making it suitable for products such as tall wooden boxes, finished packaging, larger components and other objects that may be difficult to place inside an enclosed laser system.
Yes. The Thunder CO₂ Galvo Marker is designed to support both one-off personalization and repeatable batch workflows.
Its 640 × 425 mm (25.2 × 16.7 in) perforated aluminum worktable can accommodate stops, dedicated jigs and multi-part fixtures, while the 300 × 300 mm marking field allows multiple parts to be arranged within a single setup. The worktable supports loads up to 25 kg (55 lb), making it practical for a wide range of real-world workpieces.
The Thunder CO₂ Galvo Marker is primarily designed for non-metal materials rather than direct marking on bare metal.
It can work with some coated, painted or treated metal surfaces when the CO₂ laser interacts with the coating or surface layer. For direct marking on bare metals such as stainless steel, aluminum or brass, a fiber or MOPA fiber laser is generally the more suitable choice.
The Thunder CO₂ Galvo Marker uses a 60W RF CO₂ laser at a 10.6 μm wavelength, making it suitable for a wide range of non-metal materials and coated surfaces.
Common applications include wood, leather, paper, cardboard, acrylic, rubber, fabric, glass surfaces, ceramics and coated materials. Actual marking or engraving results depend on the specific material, surface treatment and laser settings.
A CO₂ galvo marker uses high-speed galvanometer scanning to steer the laser beam across the marking field, instead of physically moving the laser head over the workpiece.
The Thunder CO₂ Galvo Marker is designed for fast marking, engraving and repetitive processing on non-metal materials. Compared with a traditional gantry CO₂ laser, the galvo structure reduces mechanical travel, acceleration, direction changes and overscan, making it especially well suited to high-speed marking and batch workflows.
