On May 26, 2015, King, General Manager of Thunder Laser, visited SPT Laser Tech Co., Ltd. in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, together with Thunder Laser staff. The team received a warm welcome and inspected SPT’s laser tube manufacturing process accompanied by SPT General Manager Mr. Sang.
Guided by technicians in the factory, the two general managers visited several production areas, including the tube firing workshop, pasting workshop, optical adjustment workshop, and gas filling workshop. During the visit, King listened carefully to the introduction of SPT’s manufacturing techniques and exchanged views with engineers on how to further improve the laser tube production process.
Focusing on Laser Tube Quality
King emphasized that quality is one of the key competitive factors for laser systems. The quality and stability of a laser tube can greatly affect the overall performance of a laser machine, so Thunder Laser has continued to pay close attention to laser tube improvement and supplier quality standards.
In response to Thunder Laser’s quality requirements, Mr. Sang accompanied the team to visit SPT’s laser tube quality control department. Both sides discussed the quality control process and exchanged opinions on how to standardize production and inspection procedures.
Thunder Laser believes that stable quality must be placed at the center of production. Only by maintaining strict quality standards can a company continue to develop in the laser industry.
Strengthening Supply Chain Cooperation
SPT also shared its plans to further expand production based on its management system and quality philosophy. For the higher quality standards proposed by Thunder Laser, SPT expressed its willingness to work toward meeting those requirements.
Through this visit, Thunder Laser reached a further cooperation agreement with SPT in the laser tube supply chain. This cooperation provided stronger support for Thunder Laser to produce well-made laser machines with stable performance.
