Key Information
Introduction
Are you still looking for what you can make with a laser cutter?
Try making a ninja-inspired decorative plywood wall art piece. This project is designed as a display prop only, not for throwing or practical use.
With laser cutting, plywood can be shaped into clean, detailed decorative forms for cosplay displays, themed rooms, wall decoration, or creative craft practice.
Before your work begins
Operational Process
Prepare & Position the Plywood
Place the 3mm plywood sheet flat on the laser working table and make sure the surface is clean and stable.
Secure the plywood if needed so it does not shift during cutting. The design should also be adjusted according to the actual type and size of the material before processing.
Import & Adjust the Design File
Prepare the decorative plywood prop design in CorelDraw, then send it to the laser software using the laser plug-in.
Input the cutting parameters, check the processing mode, and download the file to the laser cutter. The settings are only for reference, so users should test to find the best settings for their own material and machine.
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Move the laser head to the correct starting position and adjust the focal distance before cutting.
After focusing, press the Origin button to set the starting point. Accurate focusing helps achieve cleaner edges and more reliable cutting results on plywood.
Frame the Design & Start Laser Cutting
Use the Frame function to check the cutting area and confirm that the decorative design stays within the plywood sheet.
Once everything is aligned, press Start to run the laser cutting job. Stay near the machine and monitor the cutting process carefully.
Complete the Task
After the laser machine finishes working, carefully remove the decorative plywood piece from the laser bed.
Check the cut edges and keep the finished piece for safe display or decoration only. Do not use it as a throwing object.
Come and Try!
Plywood is a useful material for laser-cut display props, themed decorations, and model-making projects.
With laser cutting, you can create clean decorative shapes for cosplay displays, wall art, or creative craft practice while keeping the finished piece safe for display only.
