Introduction

Let’s start laser marking for Easter with a touch of elegance and tradition.

Laser marking brass wax seals adds a timeless charm to Easter letters, greeting cards, and gift packaging. With detailed Easter designs, each wax seal can make your message feel more personal, festive, and memorable.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to position the brass wax seal, import the Easter marking file, set the correct focus, frame the design, run the marking and cleaning layers, and complete a personalized Easter wax seal with Aurora Lite.

Before your work begins

Make sure the machine is connected and operating normally
Remove the lens cover before marking
Place a plywood pad under the brass wax seal to protect the laser bed
Check both the marking layer and cleaning layer before processing

Operational Process

STEP01

Prepare & Position the Brass Wax Seal

Place a plywood pad on the platform first, then put the brass wax seal on the pad.

The plywood pad helps prevent the beam from damaging the laser bed. You can also reuse plywood that is dirty or has failed in previous projects to reduce waste.

STEP02

Import & Adjust the Marking File

Load your Easter design into LightBurn software, then adjust the size and position to fit the brass wax seal.

This file includes two layers. The blue layer creates the deep marking on the brass, while the red layer cleans the brass surface after marking. Check both layers and make sure the parameters are set correctly before starting.

STEP03

Set the Correct Laser Focus

Missing the focus is one of the biggest reasons for laser marking failure. Make sure the brass seal surface is properly focused before processing.

You can use auto focus or manual focus. When the focus is accurate, the marked details will appear cleaner and more consistent on the brass surface.

STEP04

Frame the Design & Start Laser Marking

Press the frame button and check whether the red light indicates the correct marking area. The frame should fit the brass wax seal.

If the frame is not aligned, adjust the design position until it fits correctly. After checking, close the laser door and begin the Aurora Lite laser marking process.

Post Processing

Stay near the machine during operation and monitor for unusual sounds or alarms. Avoid looking directly at the laser beam for too long, even when protective measures are in place.

After the marking layer is complete, run the cleaning layer to clean the brass surface. Then open the door carefully, remove the personalized Easter brass wax seal, and clean it gently before use.
