Introduction

Let’s turn stainless steel couple tableware into a meaningful personalized gift.

Laser marking can add names, dates, initials, symbols, or matching designs onto stainless steel spoons, forks, knives, or other tableware pieces. For couples, these small details make everyday dining feel more personal, romantic, and memorable.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to position stainless steel couple tableware, import the marking file, set the correct focus, frame the design, and complete a custom tableware set with Aurora Lite.

Operational Process

STEP01

Prepare & Position the Stainless Steel Tableware

Place the stainless steel tableware on the laser bed with the marking surface facing upward.

Make sure each piece is clean, dry, and stable before processing. If you are marking a matching couple set, keep the left and right pieces aligned in the same direction so the final designs look consistent.

STEP02

Import & Adjust the Marking File

Import the couple tableware design into LightBurn or your preferred laser software, then adjust the size and position to fit the marking area.

You can use matching names, dates, initials, small icons, or paired phrases such as “His” and “Hers.” Check the design placement carefully and make sure the laser marking parameters are set correctly before starting.

STEP03

Set the Correct Laser Focus

Missing the focus is one of the biggest reasons for laser marking failure. Make sure the stainless steel surface is properly focused before processing.

You can use auto focus or manual focus. When the focus is accurate, the marked names, icons, or decorative details will appear cleaner and more consistent on the tableware surface.

STEP04

Frame the Design & Start Laser Marking

Press the frame button and check whether the red light indicates the correct marking area. The frame should be located on the selected part of the tableware.

If the frame is not aligned, adjust the design position or move the tableware until they match. After checking, close the laser door and begin the laser marking process.

Post Processing

Stay near the machine during operation and monitor for unusual sounds or alarms. Avoid looking directly at the laser beam for too long, even when protective measures are in place.

Once laser marking is complete, carefully open the door and remove the stainless steel tableware. Wipe the marked surface clean before using, packaging, or gifting the couple set.
