Before your work begins
Operational Process
Prepare & Position the Plywood
Prepare the 3mm plywood and place it flat on the laser working table.
Keep the plywood stable before cutting. The design should also be adjusted according to the actual type and size of the material before processing.
Import & Adjust the Design File
Draw or prepare the rotating photo frame design file in CorelDraw, then switch to the laser software using the laser plug-in.
Set the proper cutting parameters in the laser software, then click Download to transfer the design to your laser cutting machine.
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Move the laser head to the correct starting position and adjust the focal distance before cutting.
After focusing, press Origin on the control panel to set the starting position. Accurate focusing helps achieve cleaner plywood cutting results.
Frame the Design & Start Laser Cutting
Use the Frame function to check the cutting area and confirm that the rotating photo frame design stays within the plywood sheet.
Once everything is aligned, press Start to begin laser cutting. Stay near the machine and monitor the cutting process carefully.
Post Processing
After cutting, collect all the plywood pieces and check that each part has been cut cleanly.
Assemble the rotating photo frame by hand and use glue to secure the parts where needed. Once finished, the photo frame is ready for displaying your favorite pictures.
Come and Try!
A rotating photo frame is a practical and creative way to display multiple photos while adding interaction to your space.
With a laser cutter, you can turn flat plywood into a functional photo display and enjoy the process of cutting, assembling, and personalizing your own frame.
