Thunder Laser Joins the First LightBurn Experience 2023 in Illinois

LightBurn hosted its first-ever LightBurn Experience from October 27 to 29, 2023, at Embassy Suites by Hilton in East Peoria, Illinois. The event brought together makers, laser users, speakers, and industry professionals for three days of learning, networking, and product exchange.
The LightBurn Experience, also known as LBX, was designed to help attendees expand their networks and improve their skills through classes, presentations, and social activities. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about LightBurn’s development roadmap, meet fellow makers, and showcase their work.

Strengthening the Partnership With LightBurn
Thunder Laser became the second manufacturer to officially partner with LightBurn. The collaboration began at the ISA 2019 trade show in Las Vegas, USA, and was further strengthened during LBX 2023. Linus Lee, Marketing Manager of Thunder Laser China, participated in the event.
During the opening ceremony, LightBurn CEO Jason Dorie shared the development history of LightBurn, which began as a hobby and passion project in 2017. Chris Locascio and other technicians also gave presentations covering topics such as LightBurn fundamentals, lasers, and related applications.

Thunder Laser USA Ambassadors Share Practical Insights
On the next day, Thunder Laser USA ambassadors including Robert, Katie, and Alisha shared practical topics with the audience. Their sessions covered growing a laser business, product launches, and development trends for 2024.
The event attracted an attentive audience of nearly 550 people. Through these sessions, participants gained useful information about laser business development, product applications, and the direction of the laser industry.

Thunder Bolt at the LightBurn Market
The final day featured the LightBurn Market event, where participants showcased machines and offered various laser-made samples. The presentation of the Thunder Bolt machine attracted many curious visitors.
Thunder Laser had engaging discussions with LightBurn staff, customers from different places, and event attendees. These conversations helped the team exchange ideas about machines, applications, product experiences, and industry development.

A Valuable Experience for Continued Improvement
Thanks to LightBurn’s organization, LBX 2023 provided a valuable platform for learning, communication, and industry exchange. The speeches covered topics related to lasers, design, project techniques, business development, and software use.
