Thunder Laser was pleased to further strengthen its college-enterprise cooperation with Guangdong Mechanical and Electrical Polytechnic (GMEP). The cooperation focused on promoting employment opportunities for college students and attracting more talented young people to join Thunder Laser.
Mr. Chen, CEO of Thunder Laser, has remained concerned about the development of his alma mater after graduating from GMEP. To support student employment and deepen cooperation between both sides, Mr. Chen decided to sign a cooperation agreement with the college.
GMEP Teachers Visit Thunder Laser
For this cooperation, Jianjun Li, Vice President of Information Engineering at GMEP, visited Thunder Laser together with several teachers. Their visit was warmly welcomed by the company.
During the visit, the teachers learned more about the work their students were doing at Thunder Laser. They toured the manufacturing line and the sample room, gaining a closer look at the company’s production environment, laser applications, and daily operations.
Learning About Laser Machines and Student Work
Thunder Laser also demonstrated how its laser machines work, which attracted strong interest from the visiting teachers. The demonstration helped them better understand the practical skills, technical knowledge, and production experience involved in laser cutting and engraving.
As part of the visit, Thunder Laser made personalized business card boxes engraved with the teachers’ names and presented them as gifts. This small demonstration showed how laser technology can be used to create customized products in a practical and memorable way.
Signing the Cooperation Agreement
Mr. Chen expressed his appreciation for the visit from GMEP. To further strengthen the relationship between the college and the company, both sides signed the cooperation agreement and looked forward to continued development and deeper collaboration.
Through this cooperation, Thunder Laser hopes to support student employment, provide practical development opportunities, and build a stronger bridge between education and industry.
