Introduction

Looking for a bold way to personalize Western-style accessories?

Laser marking on Western-style belt buckles turns rugged accessories into personal statements. Whether it is a name, initials, a star, a horse, or a custom motif, laser marking adds clean detail with precision and character.

These custom buckles are a powerful way to celebrate cowboy heritage, Western fashion, identity, tradition, and personality. Strong enough to wear with pride and detailed enough to tell a story, each buckle becomes a keepsake that stands out on the ranch or in everyday life.

Before your work begins

Make sure the machine is connected and operating normally
Remove the lens cover before marking
Keep the belt buckle level and stable on the laser bed
Test the marking settings before processing the final buckle

Operational Process

STEP01

Prepare & Position the Belt Buckle

Place the coated alloy belt buckle on the laser bed. Since the buckle is not completely flat, place a wooden block underneath it to keep the marking surface level.

Make sure the buckle is stable and positioned correctly before importing the marking file. A level surface helps keep the marking result clean and consistent.

STEP02

Import & Adjust the Marking File

Load your design into LightBurn software, then adjust the size and position to fit the coated alloy belt buckle.

The parameters for black marking and white marking are different, so make sure the laser marking parameters are set correctly before processing.

STEP03

Set the Correct Laser Focus

Missing the focus is one of the biggest reasons for laser marking failure. Use the AF button for auto focus, or use manual focus if needed.

When two red dots are displayed on the coated alloy belt buckle, it is out of focus. When the two light dots overlap each other, it means the surface is in focus.

STEP04

Frame the Design & Start Laser Marking

Press the frame button and check whether the visual red light indicates the correct marking area. For round designs, click the circular frame button so the red light forms a circular outline.

The frame should be located in the middle of the coated alloy belt buckle. If it is not aligned, adjust the design position until it fits correctly. After checking, close the laser door and begin the Aurora Lite marking process.

Post Processing

Stay near the machine throughout operation and monitor for unusual sounds or alarms. Avoid looking directly at the laser beam, even with protective measures in place.

Once laser marking is complete, carefully open the door and remove the personalized coated alloy belt buckle. After a simple cleaning, it is ready to wear or display.
