Introduction

Let’s make your St. Patrick’s Day celebration more festive and personal with laser-marked ceramic plates.

Laser marking can add detailed designs, themed artwork, or personalized messages to vibrant green ceramic plates, making them suitable for parties, gifts, table decorations, or special keepsakes.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to position the ceramic plate, import the marking file, set the correct focus, frame the design, and complete a personalized St. Patrick’s Day plate with Aurora Lite.

Test the marking settings before processing the final plate

Operational Process

STEP01

Prepare & Position the Ceramic Plate

Place the green ceramic plate on the laser bed with the marking surface facing upward.

Since the center area is flat, the ceramic plate is well suited for laser marking. Make sure the plate is clean, level, and stable before processing.

STEP02

Import & Adjust the Marking File

Load your St. Patrick’s Day design into LightBurn software, then adjust the size and position to fit the ceramic plate.

Check the artwork placement carefully and make sure the laser marking parameters are set correctly before starting.

Set the Correct Laser Focus

Missing the focus is one of the biggest reasons for laser marking failure. Make sure the ceramic plate surface is properly focused before processing.

You can use auto focus or manual focus. When the focus is accurate, the marked details will appear cleaner and more consistent on the plate surface.

Frame the Design & Start Laser Marking

Press the frame button and check whether the red light indicates the correct marking area. The frame should be located in the middle of the plate.

If the frame is not aligned, adjust the design position until it fits correctly. After checking, close the laser door and begin the Aurora Lite laser marking process.

Post Processing

Stay near the machine during operation and monitor for unusual sounds or alarms. Avoid looking directly at the laser beam for too long, even when protective measures are in place.

Once laser marking is complete, carefully open the door and remove the personalized ceramic plate. Clean it gently, then it is ready for parties, themed events, gifts, or display.
