Key Information
Introduction
As Christmas approaches, small handmade details can make gifts, cards, and letters feel truly special.
A brass wax stamp adds a timeless and ceremonial touch, whether you are sealing holiday cards, gift boxes, invitations, or handmade packaging.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a Christmas-themed brass wax stamp with laser marking. The process focuses on clean detail, precise texture, and a sharp finished pattern that works beautifully with sealing wax.
Before your work begins
Operational Process
Prepare & Position the Brass Stamp
Lay the blank brass stamp flat on the laser bed.
Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of fingerprints or oil. A clean brass surface helps keep the laser marking result sharper and more consistent.
Import & Adjust the Marking File
Open your preferred laser software and import the Christmas stamp design file. SVG, DXF, or image files can be used depending on your design.
Adjust the size, rotation, and position of the design to match the exact marking area on the brass stamp. Double-check the design dimensions and make sure the laser marking parameters are set correctly before processing.
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Focus is the key to a successful laser marking result. If the focus is ignored, the final stamp detail may not be sharp enough.
You can use the red-dot focus method or manual focus. For manual focus, adjust the laser head until the focus stick just touches the brass stamp surface in a vertical position.
Frame the Design & Start Laser Marking
Use the frame or outline function to preview the marking area. The red light should show the outline of the design on the surface of the blank brass stamp.
If the frame is not aligned, move the brass stamp or adjust the design position until they match. Once everything is ready, start laser marking with Aurora Lite and monitor the process carefully.
Post Processing
When the marking is finished and the brass stamp has cooled, clean the surface with water and a toothbrush to remove metal residue.
You can also use a soft dry cloth or microfiber towel, but avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the brass finish. After cleaning, the Christmas brass wax stamp is ready to be mounted on a handle or used directly.
Come and Try!
There is something deeply satisfying about sealing a letter with a stamp you made yourself.
If your holiday season includes handwritten cards, wrapped gifts, invitations, or small personal rituals, this brass wax stamp is a project worth trying. Create a Christmas detail that feels thoughtful, festive, and truly handmade.
