Operational Process
STEP01
Prepare & Position the Material
Prepare a piece of suede and place it flat on the laser bed. A smooth, stable surface helps keep the engraved pattern clear and consistent.
Secure the suede gently if needed to prevent shifting during engraving, while avoiding folds or wrinkles in the processing area.
STEP02
Import & Adjust the Design File
Import the suede eyeglass cloth file into LightBurn, then adjust the size, position, and engraving settings according to the suede cloth.
Double-check the pattern placement before starting. Make sure the design fits within the suede area you want to engrave.
STEP03
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Accurate focusing is important for achieving clean engraving on suede. If your machine has auto focus, use it for quick setup. For manual focusing, lower the laser head with the focus stick until it touches the suede surface at the correct angle.
STEP04
Start Engraving
Use the Frame function to outline the engraving area. Make sure the projected frame matches the suede cloth and the design stays within the selected boundary.
Once everything is aligned, start the laser job. Stay near the machine while it’s running and monitor the engraving process carefully.
STEP05
Post Processing
When the engraving is complete, carefully remove the suede eyeglass cloth from the laser bed.
