Before your work begins

Operational Process
STEP01
Prepare & Position the Pillow
Place the flannel pillow flat on the laser bed and make sure the engraving surface is clean and smooth.
Secure the pillow if needed so it does not shift during engraving. The design should also be adjusted according to the actual type and size of the material before processing.
STEP02
Import & Adjust the Design File
Import the pillow design file into LightBurn, then adjust the size, position, and engraving settings according to the pillow surface.
Check that the pattern, name, or personal artwork is placed within the desired engraving area before starting the laser job.
STEP03
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Accurate focusing is important for clean engraving on flannel fabric.
If your machine has auto focus, use it for quick setup. For manual focusing, lower the laser head with the focus stick until it reaches the correct working distance from the pillow surface.
STEP04
Frame the Design and Start Laser Engraving
Use the Frame function to check the engraving area and confirm that the design stays within the pillow surface.
Once everything is aligned, start the laser engraving job. Stay near the machine and monitor the process to avoid excessive marking or heat buildup on the fabric.
STEP05
Complete the Task
After engraving, remove the pillow from the laser bed and check whether the engraved design is clear.
Gently shake or clean away any surface residue if needed. Your personalized flannel pillow is now ready for home decoration or gifting.
