Operational Process
STEP01
Prepare & Position the Material
Prepare a fabric pillowcase and place the engraving area flat on the laser bed. A smooth, stable surface helps keep the owl pattern clean and consistent.
Secure the pillowcase gently if needed to prevent shifting during engraving, while avoiding folds or wrinkles in the processing area.
STEP02
Import & Adjust the Design File
Import the owl pillowcase file into LightBurn, then adjust the size, position, and engraving settings according to the pillowcase surface.
Double-check the owl pattern placement before starting. Make sure the design is centered and fits within the fabric area you want to engrave.
STEP03
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Accurate focusing is important for achieving clear engraving on fabric. If your machine has auto focus, use it for quick setup. For manual focusing, lower the laser head with the focus stick until it touches the pillowcase surface at the correct angle.
STEP04
Start Engraving
Use the Frame function to outline the engraving area. Make sure the projected frame matches the pillowcase surface and the owl design stays within the selected area.
Once everything is aligned, start the laser job. Stay near the machine while it’s running and monitor the engraving process carefully.
STEP05
Post Processing
When the engraving is complete, carefully remove the pillowcase from the laser bed.
Lightly clean the engraved surface if needed, then place the pillowcase onto your pillow. Your owl pillowcase is ready to decorate your bed, sofa, or reading corner.
