Customized Cutting Board

Import the cutting board design into your laser software. If the downloaded AI file is not supported by your software version, convert it to a compatible format first. Adjust the design size and position to fit the ebony wood surface.

Before engraving, check that all text and patterns are within the intended area. The correct placement helps you create a clean, balanced laser engraving on wood without cutting off any design details.

Proper focus helps produce clear, consistent details when laser engraving on wood. Before running the job, make sure the laser is focused correctly on the material surface.

Start the laser engraving process once the layout is aligned. Stay with the machine and monitor the job throughout operation. Test settings on a similar piece of wood first when possible, as results can vary with wood species, surface finish, and design details.

Once the job is complete, remove the cutting board from the laser bed and inspect the engraved text or pattern for clarity and consistency.

Let the board cool, then gently remove any dust or residue. For a board intended for food preparation, keep engraved areas away from direct food contact unless the finished product has been confirmed suitable for that use. A personalized laser-engraved cutting board can also be used as a decorative piece or serving board, depending on its design and intended use.
