Key Information
Introduction
Flowers are one of the most classic Mother’s Day gifts, but a laser-cut bouquet adds something more personal.
With layered details, engraved messages, and custom colors, it becomes a keepsake that can be displayed long after the holiday ends.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to laser cut and assemble a Mother’s Day bouquet step by step. It’s a simple project that combines decoration, creativity, and a handmade touch.
Before your work begins
Operational Process
Prepare & Position the Material
Select a 3mm plywood sheet suitable for your bouquet design. Place the plywood flat on the laser bed and make sure it stays within the Thunder Bolt’s working area.
Before processing, wipe the surface clean to remove dust, fingerprints, or debris. If the plywood is slightly warped, use pins to secure the corners and keep it stable during cutting.
Import & Adjust the Design File
Open your laser software, such as LaserMaker, and import the bouquet design file.
Adjust the cutting parameters according to your material and machine settings. Make sure the flower layers, stems, and decorative details are positioned correctly before sending the file to the laser machine.
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Set the laser focus to the surface of the plywood before starting the job.
Proper focus helps produce smoother cutting edges, especially for small flower patterns, stems, and fine decorative lines.
Frame the Design & Start Laser Cutting
Before processing, use the frame function to preview the cutting area. This helps confirm that all flower pieces fit correctly within the plywood sheet.
Once everything is aligned, start the laser cutting process. Stay nearby while the machine is running and make sure ventilation is working properly throughout the job.
Post Processing
After processing is complete, remove the finished pieces from the laser bed and gently clean away any dust or residue.
Assemble the bouquet layers according to the design and secure them if needed. You can also paint the flowers, add ribbons, or include engraved messages to give the bouquet a more personalized Mother’s Day look.
Your laser-cut bouquet is now ready to gift or display.
