Introduction

Are you looking for a festive laser-cut project for Christmas?

Try making Christmas trinkets with 3mm plywood and 3mm acrylic. These small decorations can be used to brighten your home, Christmas tree, holiday table, window display, or gift packaging.

With laser cutting and a little painting, simple materials can become colorful handmade ornaments that add a warm holiday touch to your space.

Before your work begins

Clean the lens and mirrors
Check the laser head and nozzle for dust or buildup
Ensure ventilation and air assist are working properly
Confirm the machine is running smoothly and normally

Operational Process

STEP01

Prepare & Position the Materials

Prepare the 3mm board and 3mm acrylic, then place the material flat on the laser working table.

Keep the material stable before cutting. The design should also be adjusted according to the actual type and size of the material before processing.

STEP02

Import & Adjust the Design File

Draw or prepare the Christmas trinket design file in CorelDraw, then switch to the laser software using the laser plug-in.

Set the proper cutting parameters for acrylic and board separately, then click Download to transfer the design to your laser cutting machine.

STEP03

Set the Correct Laser Focus

Move the laser head to the correct starting position and adjust the focal distance before cutting.

After focusing, press Origin on the control panel to set the starting position. Accurate focusing helps achieve cleaner cutting results on both board and acrylic.
